Ahmed Metwally Abdalla

A researcher specializing in Middle Eastern affairs and heritage, he began his academic journey in Alexandria, Egypt, where he graduated from the Department of Oriental Languages and Literatures. During this period, he had the opportunity to study Turkish and Persian history and literature alongside his native Arabic language.

He then moved to Türkiye, earning a master’s degree from Yıldız Technical University in Old Turkish Language and its comparison with Arabic. This marked the start of his university teaching career, alongside writing articles, conducting research, and engaging in translation, political, and diplomatic studies.

He later obtained his PhD in Turkish Language and Literature from Eskişehir Osmangazi University. His interests expanded to include the documentation and preservation of manuscripts and heritage, thanks to his extensive knowledge of Ottoman and ancient Turkish languages.
